generating balance in mind body and spirit

Japanese Acupuncture

Japanese Acupuncture uses especially thin needles.  Treatments of this style are very gentle and typically use fewer needles than the traditional Chinese style while achieving excellent results.

These treatments are based on pulse and Hara* diagnosis. This process includes abdominal palpation that allows the practitioner to understand the location and pattern of imbalance based on physical findings.

*Hara:  a Japanese medical term defined as the abdomen, which reflects the overall state of the health of the body, organs, and the functional relationship of these elements.
